RECYCLE RIGHT

Curbside

“When in doubt, leave it out” is the new recycling motto.  Have questions about what can go in your curbside bin?  Review the Southwest Oakland County recycling guide or download the RRRASOC app (Android, Apple).

The Village website states that Village residents can order FREE 64-gallon recycling carts from Green for Life Services (GFL) to replace one or more recycling bins. These carts will have a list of accepted items printed right on the lid to help make recycling easier. To order a cart, Contact GFL at 844.464.3587 or send an email to gfluscustomerservice@gflenv.com.

Non-Traditional Items

For tougher to recycle items,  check out our recycling map below.  Please confirm with location prior to visiting to ensure they are still accepting listed items.  Did something change or you have something to add? Please email us.

SUSTAINABLE GIVING

One of the easiest ways to have a positive impact on the environment is to buy less “stuff”.  That can be a challenge around the holidays, but generally when looking back, it’s the experiences that hold more powerful memories than things. Regardless of the occasion, give more experiences and less stuff!  Here are a few ideas to get you thinking outside of the giftbox.
